Shooting Gallery operator responsibilities
A person conducting a shooting gallery must not allow the customer to physically possess and use the weapon unless the customer is:
- for a shooting gallery being used for paint-pellet sports, at least 15 years; or
- for a shooting gallery not being used for paint pellet sports, at least 11 years.
At least one (1) approved shooting gallery operator must be physically present at the gallery at all times when it is open to the public. They must:
- personally supervise the use of every firearm by each person attending the gallery; and
- exercise all reasonable care and precaution and give such directions as are necessary to any person to prevent danger during the use of any firearms at the gallery.
