Firearms Licence Instructor
General Information
As a holder of a firearms instructor licence you must be authorised by a registered training organisation which is approved to deliver an approved course. You can possess firearms for the purpose of delivering firearms training approved by the Commissioner.
You may also possess and use a firearm in the category stated on the licence for the purpose of providing approved training. Legislation authorises a student undertaking an approved course to physically possess or use a firearm supplied by the licensee and supervised by the licensee for the purposes of the course.
You may also possess and use a firearm in the category stated on the licence for the purpose of providing the approved training.
