CPI Fee Increase

In June 2002 the Queensland Government required Weapons Licensing Fees to be subject to a yearly increase in line with the Consumer Price Index (CPI). The first of these increases occurred in December 2003.

Weapons Licensing has been advised that the Governor in Council has endorsed this years CPI fee increase, effective from 9th December 2011

The new licence fee structure will affect all relevant Weapons Act Licences, Permits and Approvals.

Any application, renewal or process that attracts a fee under the legislation, submitted on or after (today) 9th of December 2011, will be subject to the fee increase regardless of the fee printed on the forms.

The forms printed from the Weapons Licensing Management System will from this date be amended to reflect the new fees.

Fees as at 9th December 2011
