Plane found, South Stradbroke Island

Police have located the wreckage of a missing plane this evening just east of Jumpinpin Bar at South Stradbroke Island.Two bodies have been found inside the plane and are yet to be officially identified. The bodies are expected to be retrieved tomorrow morning

Update shooting incident involving police, North Rockhampton

A police officer was released from Rockhampton Hospital at 2am today after being treated for a range of injuries after she was allegedly assaulted by a man at North Rockhampton last evening.
