Our Policies and Procedures
This class of information includes our current written protocol for delivering our functions and responsibilities. This is achieved through forward proactive policy and legislative development, strategic direction and policy planning and legislative work programs.
Queensland Police Policy and Procedures
Police policies and procedures are generally derived from and are compliant with the relevant existing legislation governing police powers and responsibilities. Areas covered in this section include supplying police officer’s details, stopping vehicles for prescribed purposes, arresting persons without a warrant and dealing with breaches of the peace.
Strategic Plan 2011-2015
The Strategic Plan outlines the direction for the Queensland Police Service and the strategies for delivering effective policing for Queensland.
Client Service Issues and Complaint Procedures
The Queensland Police Service has a Client Service Charter which outlines the obligations of the Service to the community and its expectations from those who we serve. The Service welcomes constructive feedback on the performance of our client services.
Traffic Manual
The aim of this manual is to provide guidance and instructions in salient aspects of traffic related policing. To this end members are to comply with the contents of this manual so that their duties are discharged lawfully, ethically and efficiently.
