Glastonbury NHW Comes of Age

Glastonbury Rural Watch (Gympie R1) recently celebrated their 10th anniversary with a meeting followed by a BBQ get-together under the shady trees in the Glastonbury Recreation Grounds. The sun shone down over the 50 plus people who attended the festivities, including the local Mayor and Deputy Mayor, Councillors and DCPC Stephanie Vogler.

Glastonbury have reported that crime over the past decade has decreased, attributing the low statistics to good relationships with neighbours, and members reporting suspect activities to police.

Congratulations Glastonbury Rural Watch, keep up your fantastic efforts to make your area a safe and crime free place!
