Change to Voluntary Workers Personal Income Insurance

Currently all members over the age of 70 years wishing to obtain Voluntary Workers Personal Income Insurance are required to submit with their application supporting documentation to assist CGU in determining an applicant's eligibility.

Members over the age of 70 years must supply one of the following supporting documentation with their application; details of their current drivers licence, medical certificate or the Over 70's Medical Clearance Form. To assist in streamlining the process CGU would like to advise that whilst it is still a requirement to obtain the supporting documentation there is no longer a requirement to forward this with the application. Applicants are now able to retain this documentation and provide it on demand should a claim be made. This supporting documentation must be renewed with every application. This of course only applies to Voluntary Workers Personal Income Insurance and in no way affects the public liability protection provided free of charge by CGU. If you have any further inquires please contact CGU.
