NHW Helps its Neighbours
The recent Boxing Day Tsunami inspired one NHW area to collect funds as part of a worldwide campain to assist the victums. Led by Area Coordinator Dennis Webb, Upper Mt Gravatt 18 NHW instigated an appeal in their local district. As a result of the local success, the appeal was expanded to all NHW areas in Queensland with over $5000 raised. Greatfully acepting the donation was the Executive Director of Red Cross Australia who thanked the NHW Program for their efforts and generosity.
