Neighbourhood Watch Awards

On Thursday 28 February 2008 Mary Jeanette Wilson, the Secretary/Treasurer of the Toorbul NHW was presented with her gold certificate and lapel badge by Inspector Michael Brady, District Officer Caboolture District. Mary was totally caught by surprise when the award was announced, everyone knew how much she appreciated being the recipient. The Toorbul NHW presentation was held at the combined Caboolture/Redcliffe District NHW Conference attended by approximately 25 representatives from NHW groups from the Caboolture and Redcliffe Police Districts. Also in attendance were Councillor Lynette Devereaux and Councillor John McNaught of the Caboolture Shire Council, both of whom are avid supporters of NHW and who over the years have attended the majority of NHW group meetings within their respective council divisions.ent. On 27 July 2008 Inspector Matt Wilson of North Coast Regional Office  presented Jim Shaw,  Area Co-ordinator Caboolture 10, Caboolture South NHW with his Gold Certificate and badge. The presentation was held at the North Coast Region Neighbourhood Watch State Forum Maroochydore.	Maroochydoe Photo 2

Also present were Carryn Sullivan MP, Member for Pumicestone and Councillor John Mcnaught, Caboolture Shire Council. Both are very strong supporters in the work of NHW and were presented with certificates of appreciation. Members of the Toorbul NHW group were presented with a Silver or Bronze certificate.
