The Queensland Police Service (QPS) Domestic and Family Violence Strategy 2009 - 2013Provides guidelines for the development and enhancement of services responsive to the needs of individuals and families experiencing and affected by domestic and family violence. The Strategy has been developed ensuring consistency with the Queensland Government “For our sons and daughters” Strategy to reduce domestic and family violence 2009 – 2014 and the Australasian Policing Strategy 2008. The QPS Domestic and Family Violence Strategy has been developed through internal and external consultation and clearly identifies our continued commitment to provide a high standard of policing services for the Queensland community. | |||||||

Code of Conduct for the Queensland Public ServiceThe Queensland Government has committed itself to the achievement of high ethical standards for all public service agencies and public officals. As part of whole-of-government integrity reforms, the Queensland Government introduced a single Code of Conduct for the Queensland Public Service (effective 1 January 2011), and all members of the QPS are bound by provisions of the Code.
