Police Powers and Responsibilities

This edition of the Queensland Police Service Police Vedette is themed around the Police Powers and Responsibilities Act 2000. The 2000 Act consolidates police powers contained in more than 130 Queensland statutes and is the result of more than a decade of work. The Act became effective on 1 July 2000.
