​​​​​​The Fatal Four now becomes the Fatal Five after distraction and inattention was officially added to the Road Safety campaign.

Speeding, drink and drug driving, failure to wear a seatbelt and driving while fatigued make up the rest of the Fatal Five.

Too many Queensland drivers are being distracted while on the road by things like mobile phones, complex sound systems, on-board DVD players and satellite navigation, to name a few.
