The Minister for Police, Fire and Emergency Services has approved a reward of $250,000 be offered for information which leads to the apprehension and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the murder of Wayne James YOUNGKIN in 1986 at Brighton.
INDEMNITY FROM PROSECUTION:
In addition, an appropriate indemnity from prosecution will be recommended for any accomplice, not being the person who actually committed the crime, who first gives such information.
The allocation of the $250,000 reward will be at the sole discretion of the Commissioner of the Police Service.
On Tuesday the 29th day of November 2016 the remains of Wayne James YOUNGKIN were located in a sewer pit at the rearof 136 North Road, Brighton. He was last seen in approximately October of 1986. Investigating Police have initiated an Investigation Centre at the Carseldine Police Station to investigate the suspected Homicide of Wayne James YOUNGKIN.
