This online form allows you to report activity to police that you believe to be suspicious.

When to report

Suspicious activity reporting can be used for any information including:

  • Public safety related
  • Suspicious activity
  • Suspicious vehicles
  • Suspicious persons
  • Suspicious addresses
  • Any information that may be of interest to Police

What you need to report

  • The address/suburb where the suspicious activity has occurred/is occurring
  • A description of what has occurred/is occurring

What to expect

Information received will be used as intelligence about the suspicious activity.

On form submission you will receive a case number. This is not an Intelligence Report number, the case number advises that your form has been successfully submitted.

Subject to operational requirements, an email containing your reference number will be sent to your nominated email address (if provided) within 48 hours. This reference number can be used for any further information you wish to provide in relation to this matter.

If you have not provided your contact details you will not receive your Intelligence Report number via email and any further information you wish to provide in relation to this matter will require a new report to be submitted.


The Queensland Police Service collects information to assist in performing its statutory functions and responsibilities. Information provided will be used to process your application, create a Police Report, and/or resolve your complaint, compliment or query. Your personal information will be managed in compliance with the Information Privacy Act 2009.

There is the provision on some Online Forms to opt-out of providing any personal information. In these instances, the QPS will not collect, store, or use any personal information, and the above stipulations do therefore not apply.
