Can I have an extension of time to pay the Infringement Notice?

Yes, only if the Infringement Notice has NOT lapsed past the payment due date. Please contact the Traffic Camera Office prior to the Infringement due date to discuss your payment extension options.

Can I elect for a Voluntary Instalment Plan?

If the penalty is $200.00 or greater, you may elect for a Voluntary Instalment Plan.

Please forward an initial instalment of $60.00 and the fully completed Voluntary Instalment Plan slip located on the rear of the Infringement Notice to:

Department of Transport and Main Roads
  PO Box 525
  FORTITUDE VALLEY QLD 4006

An Instalment Plan Notice will be forwarded to you by the State Penalties Enforcement Registry for payment of the balance.

I am overseas and trying to pay my Infringement Notice.

The notice may be finalised by forwarding an International Bank Draft for the amount of the penalty (in Australian dollars) and the Payment Slip to the:

I have paid the Infringement Notice, but I have been issued with an Enforcement Order.

If payment of the penalty associated with the Infringement Notice was made after the due date, late fees have been applied.

The Infringement Notice has been referred to the State Penalties Enforcement Registry (SPER) for further enforcement. Please contact SPER on 1300 365 635 to discuss payment options.

Can I complete a Statutory Declaration on a paid Infringement Notice?

If you have paid the Infringement Notice and realised that you were not in charge or the driver of the vehicle at the time of the offence, you may complete a Statutory Declaration only if the paid Infringement notice has not lapsed past the printed due date.

If the due date has lapsed, the paid Infringement Notice is deemed finalised and the Traffic Camera Office can no longer assist.
