State PLO Coordination

The State Police Liaison Officer (PLO) Coordination team comprises the State PLO Coordinator, the Multicultural PLO Coordinator and the First Nations PLO Coordinator. 

Together, they play a crucial role in supporting the PLOs, TSIPLOs (Torres Strait Islander Police Liaison Officers) and CCLOs (Cross-Cultural Liaison Officers) across the state.

What we do

• Coordinate regular meetings for the PLO and TSIPLO Network and the CCLO Network to support PLO development, recruitment, training, wellbeing and connections within the PLO, TSI PLO, and CCLO network within the QPS
• Support Multicultural Affairs and First Nations groups and promote engagement in First Nations and Multicultural communities
• Coordinate the State-wide PLO and TSIPLO Conference to enhance professional development, community engagement and wellbeing of PLOs and CCLOs.
