Students in the Queensland Police Museum

Education Program

Our Education Program caters to school groups from Year 5 to 12 and adult groups. Our usual booking timeslots are 9.30am, 11.30am and 1.30pm Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Our school program takes up to 2hrs, and typically includes viewing a video presentation regarding a true crime story of your choice or a presentation breaking down the forensic processes of the Queensland Police Service, engaging with the museum’s displays, collecting evidence in our Augmented Reality Crime Scene (app), and the possibility to chat with a Queensland Police officer.

Other visitors are welcome to use the Augmented Reality experience which can be downloaded on personal Android devices. The app is not currently available on Apple but we have five Android tablets that can be lent to visitors.
