police officers talk to young woman after car crash

No excuse for abuse

Police are making Queensland safer. There’s no excuse for abuse.

Queensland police officers are on the frontline every day, responding to emergencies and working to maintain safety across Queensland. They have an important job to do – one that depends on being able to act quickly, stay focused, and support those in need.

That’s why, the Queensland Police Service has launched a “No Excuse for Abuse” campaign. The campaign highlights the important role police play in our communities and makes it clear that mistreatment of police officers is never acceptable, it can be a crime and it may lead to prosecution.
