Only use this form to report property that has been lost within Queensland or you reside in Queensland and are reporting property lost internationally or interstate for insurance purposes only.
What is Lost Property
- You do not know where the property is, and the property was not stolen (taken by theft, burglary, robbery or by force)
- You know where the property is, but it is irretrievable, e.g. property has fallen from a boat into the ocean, property has fallen down a drain, etc.
If property has been stolen or there has been unlawful entry to a dwelling or premise, report online using the Stolen Property Form.

What to expect
- The Queensland Police Service send a report number directly to your email address.
