Only use this form to report property that has been damaged within Queensland, Australia.

To be considered a police matter, a person must intentionally destroy or damage property belonging to someone else. This does not include normal wear and tear, or damage caused by entry to a premise or vehicle.

To report any property damage caused by a moving vehicle, report online using the traffic incident form.

If property has been stolen or there has been unlawful entry to a dwelling or premise, report online using the Stolen Property Form or Break and Enter Form.

What you need

  • Identification e.g. Australian/Queensland Drivers Licence/18+ card, passport
  • A valid and current personal or business email address or mobile phone number
  • Authorisation if you are reporting this matter on behalf of a business

What to expect

You will receive an online reference number to confirm the form has been submitted. This number should be retained to be used on the Report Updates form or when contacting Policelink on 131 444 in relation to this incident.

Subject to operational requirements, you will receive a Qld Police report number to the nominated personal or business email address or mobile phone number within 3 days.

Photographs or videos

To assist the Queensland Police Service with its investigations, evidence is requested to be provided to the Axon Queensland Police Service Evidence Submission Portal.

For offences reported online with available evidence (e.g. video footage) a secure link will be sent to provide this to Police.

You will receive either an email/SMS with the report number and a secure link to upload the video footage or evidence.

The link can be used:

  • only for the offence being reported,
  • only once to upload multiple attachments and
  • will expire in 10 days once received

If your link expires before you have submitted the evidence, please complete the 'Report Updates' online form to request a new link.

Report property damage
Was the damage caused by an unlawful entry/break in or attempts to break into a home or building?
Was damage caused to a vehicle, watercraft or motorcycle as part of a traffic crash or incident?
Report graffiti
Is the graffiti in a public place or visible from a public place?
Are you the owner of the graffitied property or are you authorised to make a complaint about the graffiti on behalf of the owner?

If it is not happening now contact the owner of the property and notify them of the offence. All council property matters should be referred to the Local Council.
