In accordance with Police Powers and Responsibilities Act 2000, Section 126: Notice to owner re seizure / moving of vehicle, load or other thing.
The owners of the items below are hereby notified that, under the provisions of the Police Powers and Responsibilities Act 2000, the items were seized/moved by a member of the Queensland Police Service, at the locations noted below.
As the item was seized and moved, you may recover the item by contacting the officer in charge of the relevant police station. Before the item may be recovered you may be required to produce satisfactory evidence of the ownership of the item and you must pay the costs of removing and keeping it.
The penalty for unlawfully removing the item from the place where it is held is a maximum of 40 penalty units.
If, within one month after the notice below is given, you do not recover the item, the Commissioner of Police may sell the item and anything in or on it by public auction, or dispose of it in a way the Commissioner considers appropriate.
Before the item may be recovered you may be required to produce satisfactory evidence of the ownership of the item and you must pay the costs of removing and keeping the item.
