The owners of the animals below are hereby notified that, under the Police Powers and Responsibilities Act 2000, the animal was seized by a member of the Queensland Police Service.
You may recover the animal by contacting the officer in charge of the specified police station. Find a police station
Before the animal can be recovered you may be required to produce satisfactory evidence of ownership, and you must pay the costs of removing and keeping the animal.
The penalty for unlawfully removing the animal from the place where it is held is a maximum of 20 penalty units or 6 months jail.
If, within one month after this notice is published, you do not recover the animal, the Police Commissioner may sell the animal and anything in or on it by public auction or dispose of it in the way the Commissioner considers appropriate.
