Import Weapons

Before you import any weapons/firearms from overseas you must ascertain:

1. If you can lawfully import the weapon/firearm
2. If you require a licence to possess this weapon/firearm in; and
3. If a PTA is required (a PTA is required for any weapon that requires registration to a Qld Weapons Licence).

To lawfully import certain items into Queensland, a B709 form (Import Permit) must be obtained from the Queensland Police Service.

If you are acquiring the weapon from a country where weapon licences are not required enter N/A in the Licence Number field.
