Weapons category information

You will only be permitted to acquire a weapon of the category or categories endorsed on your licence or applied for during your new application.

Genuine need

If you are applying for a category B, C, D, E, H, M or R weapon, as part of your application you must state your genuine need for acquiring the weapon. Your genuine need must correlate to the approved condition codes on your licence.
